Creating a Mantid developer account

Everyone has read access to the Mantid wiki, trac database and subversion repository, but to be able to make changes you have to create a developer account.

1. First you have to create an account with the Mantid Wiki.
   1. Please see either Nick Draper or Freddie Akeroyd with your user name(your full name), a password and valid email address.
   2. Once you receive a confirmation email, click the link shown in the email to complete the wiki sign-up process.
   3. Send a short email to either me (Nick Draper), Stuart Campbell or Freddie Akeroyd asking to have your privileges set up
2. Remember the username and password as the same login details are used for the wiki, trac and the subversion repository.
3. Sign up to the following two email lists
   1. Mantid Developers
   2. Mantid BuildServer

Wiki, SVN

1. Go to the Special Pages index Special:SpecialPages
2. Select Login/Create Account
3. Select the Create Account link at the top of the box
4. Username should be firstname (space) surname
5. User will be sent an email to verify, svn will not work until this is done.

Trac

1. Permissions [page]
2. Add subject to group box
3. Use the wiki username, add them to the developer group
